NAUG Newsletter
The 2016 NAUG Board of Directors is excited to launch the first issue of the NAUG Newsletter. It is the Board's hope that we can share information and ideas to our entire membership using both the newsletter and NAUG website, The primary focus of NAUG is to promote the exchange of ideas and information and foster professional development among users of the GoMembers enterprise software.

The theme for the 2016 NAUG Conference and Annual Meeting is Learn, Discover and Collaborate. The Board is busy planning the content for the event but would welcome any suggestions of topics you would like to learn more about.

This year the Board is planning two separate tracks for the conference. One track is designed for the everyday GoMembers power user and the other is being designed for the system administrator. We feel the content discussed in each track will be more pertinent to the position providing each attending member with the best bang for their buck. There also will be several group sessions that will benefit all GoMembers users. As always, Aptean will have their key GoMembers staff on hand to present, discuss and help customers in any way they can.

The Magnificent Mile Association is a private, nonprofit membership organization with a mission of preserving, promoting, and enhancing one of Chicago's most unique neighborhoods. Its 770 members include real estate properties, retail stores, hotels, dining and entertainment establishments, professional service industries and institutional and residential properties.

Through its members, The Magnificent Mile Association has become an influential force in determining policy, effecting change and creating marketing and networking activities that prepare the business district and members for the future.

The Magnificent Mile Association offers these members an opportunity to market to guests (visitors, residents and area employees) through several consumer campaigns, social media outlets (60,000 followers), a dynamic consumer website (70,000 visits per month) while also connecting to their business community through more than 25 networking events per year.

Aptean continues to work for you! Here's a short recap of the investments made in 2015.
  • We began development of v4.8 using your feedback from the roadmap survey and from last year's NAUG. We are very excited at how this release is shaping up. On the back-office side, you'll no longer be restricted to using Internet Explorer and will be able to access more areas via the browser, including specific edit and post functions. You'll also see enhancements to other software areas. Keep an eye out for webinar announcements about the new release.
  • As for eBusiness, we're doing a proof of concept that could offer you much more flexibility in the design and presentation of eBusiness pages that will be "responsive" to function on multiple devices. More exciting details to come!
  • We partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the industry leader in cloud solutions, and moved all of our hosted customers and applications to AWS to leverage their offerings for enhanced security, performance and reliability, and experience in operating large scale, distributed and transactional IT infrastructures.
  • We certified our solution to work with Windows 2012, ColdFusion 11 and MS Dynamics Great Plains 2013 (will have GP 2015 very soon too).
  • We closed more than 2,400 support cases with customer satisfaction of 98.13 percent.
  • We created a new webinar series to help raise awareness of our offerings. You can access these webinars at any time by visiting the Products page on the Aptean Support Portal or contacting Chris O'Meara at 571/262-5171 ext. 1082.
  • We've reported more than 150 separate customer engagements for consulting, product enhancements, upgrades and implementation of additional modules.
Plus, there's even more exciting news planned for 2016! In addition to servicing and supporting you, we will release 4.8 and rapidly begin development of the next release while partnering with NAUG to host the best user's conference yet. We also are looking at several new offerings and will provide updates as they come available.
